Thaddeus S Siemasko, AIA, Architect
Founding Principal, Certified Local Inspector

Thad founded the firm’s architecture practice in 1987 with a driving passion to create exceptional structures for living, learning, and work. The projects he designs are timeless in style, highly functional, thoughtfully placed in the landscape, and carefully woven into the fabric of their communities. Thad's experience spans a wide range of project types and purposes, including academic institutions, commercial facilities, and single and multi-family residences. He is a Beverly resident who plays an active role in the North Shore business community, serving on local boards and formerly as President of the Rotary Club. Thad's idea of unwinding is tackling house projects at his cottage in Wellfleet.
Jean Verbridge, ASID, IIDA
Principal Emeritus

Versatile and visionary, Jean puts the V in SV Design. Her breadth of experience in interior design and decorating ranges from residential to large commercial and corporate projects. Her ability to create refined and imaginative conceptual designs for a wide variety of interiors is rooted in her approach to interiors as the extension of the architectural shell. The results for her clients are living and working environments where activities flow easily and whose spaces, colors and decorative detail lift the spirit and enhance the daily life of her clients. Jean is a leader in the interior design industry and has served as President of the Massachusetts Interior Design Coalition. In 2016, she was honored by the American Society for Interior Designers (ASID) with the New England Design Excellence award, and in 2021, was inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame.
Stefano Basso, AIA, Beverly Architect
Principal

Since joining SV Design in 2009, Stefano has served in a variety of capacities for the firm and has worked on just about every project type and size. He began his career designing single-family homes which instilled an appreciation for the type of detail and craftsmanship that makes historic neighborhoods across New England special. In his current work on commercial, mixed-use and affordable housing projects, he strives to incorporate these traditional New England design elements into building massing and cladding to complement neighborhood context while meeting EOHLC guidelines and exceeding Passive House requirements. Stefano’s expertise ranges from multi-family housing, theatres, hotels, and mixed-use developments. His creative and dedicated team approach leads to strong relationships across the board and consistently delivers successful projects, while having fun along the way. Stefano enjoys restoring historic homes with his wife and recreating Italian family recipes from Liguria with his sons.
Stefano holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
Jennifer Hocherman, AIA, LEED AP, Beverly Architect
Principal

Jen joined SV Design in 2013 and has over twenty years’ experience designing institutional, educational, and community-focused buildings. Her impressive portfolio ranges from private schools and colleges to numerous YMCA facilities across Massachusetts to multi-generational affordable housing developments. She has a knack for seamlessly blending her knowledge with a client’s needs, dreams, and goals to bring their projects from concept to a reality in a way that exceeds their expectations. Jen believes that engaging clients in the design process, communicating proactively with partners, and managing every aspect from start to finish and beyond are vital to success. She credits her organizational skills to balancing project work with her even more demanding role as a busy mom to her two girls.
Jen is a graduate of Cornell University College of Architecture, Art and Planning, and has been a guest critic for the Boston Architectural College and Tufts University.
Paul Muldoon, AIA, Chatham Architect
Principal

Paul’s twenty years of architectural experience includes twelve years at SV Design’s Beverly and Chatham offices, before founding Muldoon Architects in 2019. His return to the firm’s Cape Cod office in 2023 was driven by a desire to be part of an integrated and collaborative architecture and interior design team. Paul has the ability to turn a client’s vision into reality through meticulous detail and planning, which is a testament to his dedication to creating residential spaces that feel like a haven and not just a house. Having spent the last seven years living on Cape Cod, Paul’s knack for blending contemporary design with traditional shingle-style architecture results in designs driven by the beauty of their surroundings - drawing on tranquil color palettes, natural light, and creating a synergy between the land and the home.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and lives in Harwich with his wife and four children. When he is not busy designing his and hers roof decks, you can find him enjoying his children’s activities, riding the Pan-Mass Challenge or training for Ninja Warrior.
Tobin Shulman, AIA, Beverly Architect
Principal

Tobin joined SV Design in 2005 and manages the North Shore office’s private residential projects from large, new construction to existing home renovations and additions. He combines his passion for detail and a comprehensive vision for each architectural project to yield beautiful aesthetics and functionality across a variety of styles, scales, and locations. A sample of his work includes oceanfront homes, historic renovations, elegant North Shore estates, and mountain-side retreats and vacation homes. Tobin holds a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College, where he was the recipient of several awards, including the AIA Henry Adams Medal for top-ranking graduate student. As an undergraduate he majored in philosophy and earned a BA from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. When he isn’t serving on local boards, or playing with power tools, Tobin finds inspiration traveling with his wife and three boys.
Kathleen O’Connor
Associate Principal

Kathleen joined SV Design in 2022 and now oversees the firm’s interior decorating business across its three offices. She provides input on strategy, operations, and business development to position the practice for continued growth, elevate its design offerings, and foster seamless collaboration between the architecture and interiors teams. Kathleen brings her strategic mindset to the role, demonstrating a strong sense of vision, an ability to build relationships, and a remarkable talent for listening to clients.
Since joining SV Design, Kathleen has played a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s brand through marketing, public relations, and strategic business development. Her dedication to excellence has been a key driver in the firm’s growth and success.
Under Kathleen’s leadership, SV Design is poised to continue delivering outstanding interior decorating solutions that seamlessly blend collaboration, creativity, and client-centered design.
Theresa Thompson
Associate Principal

Theresa joined SV Design in 2010 and has been an integral member of the organization, covering all facets of technology, human resources, and client communications. Her aptitude for strategic thinking and can-do approach makes the seamless operations of two offices possible. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and brings over three decades of operations, human resources, information technology, and accounting experience to the firm.
Krista Broyles, AIA, LEED AP, Architect
Associate

Krista Broyles joined SV Design in 2014 and now has over fifteen years of experience in multi-family, affordable housing, senior living, and commercial projects extending from Massachusetts to Southern Arizona. Her career at the firm has thrived as she's continued to expand her knowledge and project management experience in design phases, coordination, client relations, and construction administration. From project conception to punch-listing and close out, Krista brings the project team together through her strong communication skills and outgoing nature. She enjoys seeing her local community positively impacted by projects she is involved with, and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients and team members alike. You can find her at a local brewery or down on the Cape with her family when she isn’t wearing a hard hat during the work week!
Katy Finkenzeller, AIA, LEED AP, Architect
Associate

Katy began her career in Denver, Colorado before joining SV Design in 2009, where she has since cultivated her architectural practice and leadership role within the firm’s residential team. Her passion for residential architecture lies in the characteristics of each custom home she works on, whether a family compound on the coast, a Greek Revival-inspired urban renovation, or a ski house up north. Katy’s vision and meticulous attention to detail yield beautiful designs that vary in complexity and forever change the way her clients experience their homes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University, and a Master of Architecture from University of Colorado, and has been a guest critic at Boston Architectural College.
Lindsay Goode (Moore), Interior Designer
Associate, Interiors

Lindsay has fifteen years of interior design experience and joined SV Design’s Chatham office in 2019 as Senior Project Manager before being promoted to Associate in 2023. Her career at SV Design has flourished as she’s continuously and effortlessly exceeded her clients’ expectations of creating timeless design. A few of Lindsay’s greatest passions are the art and craftsmanship of custom furniture, utilizing environmentally friendly textiles and materials with a lifespan to withstand the test of time, and perfecting spaces to align with a client’s ideal vision of how they wish to live in their home. Born and raised in California, Lindsay received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University. She met her now-husband at a project installation on Nantucket and moved to Cape Cod in 2018.
Anne Marie Garcia, LEED AP
Director of Business Development & Marketing

Anne Marie joined SV Design in 2025 and oversees the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives across the North Shore, Greater Boston, and Cape Cod. With over fifteen years of experience in architecture, interiors, and product design, Anne Marie has a keen ability to nurture relationships and drive client goals forward. Her expertise encompasses client relations, business development, project management, product development, and a demonstrated ability in branding and strategy. Leveraging her background in interior design, Anne Marie’s empathetic nature, clear strategic vision, and understanding of the complexities within the industry have proven to deliver innovative, client-centered solutions.
Prior to joining SV Design, Anne Marie was the New England Regional Director of Client Relations at E4H Architecture, focusing on client engagement and strategy within the healthcare industry. Previously, she owned an award-winning interior design studio based in Nashville, TN where she worked with high-end hospitality clients. Anne Marie is an advocate for a trauma-informed approach to design to promote healing and has been published in Medical Construction & Design Magazine (MCD).
Anne Marie studied Sustainable Design at Boston Architectural College and earned a degree in Product Development and Management at Fashion Institute of Design in San Francisco, CA.
